A talented fashion designer whose journey in the industry is as colorful as her vibrant designs. Born and raised in Michigan, Cross's passion for fashion blossomed from a young age, setting her on a path towards creativity and innovation. After completing her education, Cross ventured to the bustling metropolis of New York City, where she embarked on a remarkable career in the fashion capital of the world.

In 2008, Cross made her mark in the fashion industry by landing a role as an assistant at Macy's, one of the most iconic department stores in the world. Through dedication and hard work, she swiftly climbed the ranks, eventually becoming a senior designer for Macy's private label, INC. During her tenure, Cross honed her skills and gained invaluable experience, designing a wide range of apparel categories including denim, bottoms, skirts, and dresses. Her designs graced the shelves of Macy's stores nationwide, earning praise from fashion enthusiasts and industry insiders alike.

Cross's creative prowess didn't go unnoticed, and soon her work caught the attention of prestigious publications such as InStyle magazine and Vogue, further solidifying her reputation as a rising star in the fashion world. Over the years, Cross continued to push boundaries and explore new avenues of design, collaborating with renowned brands like Kohl's, Elizabeth & James by the Olsen twins, Juicy Couture, and J.Crew. With each new opportunity, she brought her signature blend of contemporary sophistication and wearable elegance to the forefront, captivating audiences with her bold aesthetic and innovative approach to design.

Despite her success in New York, Cross felt a deep connection to her roots in Michigan and in 2020, she made the decision to return home. Inspired by her love for her hometown and fueled by a desire to make a difference, Cross embarked on a new chapter in her career, launching her own contemporary women's apparel and accessory brand, Truth. With Truth, Cross sought to celebrate the power of feminism, individuality, and contemporary sophistication, infusing each design with her unique perspective and unwavering commitment to quality craftsmanship.

In October 2021, Cross's journey came full circle as she participated in the launch of Maison Black, a curated online retail shop for luxury fashion by Black designers. As one of the featured designers at Maison Black's inaugural runway presentation titled "Manhattan to Motown," Cross showcased her fall 2021 collection and offered a preview of her spring/summer 2022 collection. Her designs, characterized by vibrant colors, bold patterns, and feminine silhouettes, captivated audiences and underscored her status as a visionary in the fashion industry.

Through Maison Black, Cross found a platform to amplify her voice and champion diversity and inclusion in the fashion world. With her boundless creativity and unwavering determination, she continues to inspire audiences and pave the way for future generations of designers.
